One of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Audrey and Clayton are very friendly, fast with communication and the trapper cabin was charming and inviting! And WOW- the beautiful views and wildlife… icing on the cake! Ideally located between Steamboat Springs and Kremmling, you can’t go wrong booking this place! We absolutely loved our time visiting here and would 1000% recommend!!! We can’t wait to go back! 🥰

We loved our stay at Audrey’s and Clayton’s ranch house. The house is clean, pretty and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed, plus some nice extra touches. It’s nestled in a beautiful and peaceful hill with easy access to hiking and just 30 min from Steamboat Springs. Audrey and Clayton were super responsive to a few of our questions and went above and beyond as hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

The two of us wanted to get away from the Denver hubbub and busyness. “Rabbit Ears Basecamp” was a pleasant and welcome stay for our three nights away. We stayed in the Trapper Cabin where we enjoyed a nice clean cabin, comfortable queen-size bed and outdoor and indoor seating areas. The cabin provided us privacy and comfort. A well-stocked kitchen with nice appliances allowed us to have breakfast every day in the cabin and even a late-night dinner one night. We also enjoyed our nightly dart game and the hot tub at the Hitchin' Post. Great scenery, abundant wild flowers, spacious parking and an easy drive to Steamboat made Rabbit Ears Basecamp the right choice for our weekend away.

The Trapper cabin was a quaint beautiful cabin that is perfect for getting away into the mountains! It had everything we needed; kitchen, hot shower and bathroom, rustic appeal, and quietness! The pool table and hot tub were so fun and amazing to have!

This is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. Gorgeous views, very comfortable place to stay. It was great timing because the meadows were full of wild flowers and we enjoyed watching the colorful birds as we walked the property. And it was so easy going to Steamboat Springs for lunch and shopping! We definitely plan on going back.

Love this cute cabin! Went for a girls staycation and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great job with maintaining the place and providing everything we need. The views are unbeatable here!!

Very beautiful scenery, right off rabbit ears pass, close to steamboat, very peaceful at night. If you’re looking for a cute little remote getaway, highly recommend. We brought a telescope with for night time star viewing as it gets very dark!

We had such a great time at the Ranch House with our kids and visiting family. The home was so comfortable and spacious. The views are unbelievable and the sun coming in, in the morning and afternoon was just lovely. We had every amenity we could have hoped for and then some. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day in Steamboat was perfect. Finding the property was a breeze and communication was effortless. We will absolutely book again. We loved this area and are grateful for such a great stay.

Audrey and Clayton were extremely accommodating and made our stay at the Trapper Cabin an excellent experience! The cabin itself was exactly what we needed for our long weekend adventure. We will definitely be looking to go back.
