Pet Policy
We love having our dog, Macky, with us at Basecamp and are happy to welcome well-behaved pups to stay wild with us. You’ll find dog bowls and treats in the at each stay. A few things we ask to help us keep Basecamp safe and beautiful:
- NO DOGS ON FURNITURE: Please keep your pups off of the furniture and beds. Our cleaning crew thanks you!
- WIPE MUDDY PAWS: Please wipe off muddy or wet paws before they come inside.
- CLEAN UP WASTE: Please pick up and dispose of your pup’s #2!
- SECURE THEM SAFELY: If you’re gone for long periods, be sure they’re safely secured.
- LEASH UP AROUND OTHERS: Please leash your dog when you are around other guests or ask if they are comfortable with your dog off leash.
Snowmobile & OHV Policy
Rabbit Ears Basecamp is surrounded by private property and we do our best to be good neighbors. We are just a short drive up the Pass to parking lots where you can park and ride. Guests are not permitted to ride sleds or OHVs from our property to the Pass. Trailer parking is welcome in front of your cabin or in the space just up the road.
BY STAYING WITH US YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW OUR POLICY AND TRAILER UP TO THE PASS. THANK YOU!
House Rules
- BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR: You’re sharing this land with guests in three other stays. Keep voices and music low outdoors, especially at night.
- SHOES OFF INSIDE: Please remove your shoes when entering your stay to help protect our old floors.
- NO PARTIES: Please keep gatherings quiet and mellow.
- NO FIRES OR FIREWORKS: For safety and wildfire prevention, campfires and fireworks are not allowed.
- RESPECT QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Use caution when exploring!
- SAFETY FIRST: Please don’t enter any of the other old buildings on the property, they are remnants of a 1920s sawmill.
